In October Good Foods will be celebrating its 40th anniversary throughout the month. The grocery and market will also be highlighting Co-op Month, Fair Trade Month, and the International Year of Cooperatives. Below is a schedule of planned events:
Harvest Sampling Saturday. Oct. 6, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. A harvest-themed Sampling Saturday with local producers and music to kick off the month of festivities. Music 11:30 am – 1:30 pm by Michael Fogler.
Co-ops Rock! Co-op Education Fair. Oct. 13, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. Celebrate the cooperative spirit and meet local co-ops at Co-op Education Fair. There are a variety of local co-ops working to make the community a better place. Stop in to learn what local businesses are actually co-ops. Music 11:30 am – 1:30 pm by Jerome Lange.
