The facility is being called the Cricket Wireless Skate Spot.
The grand opening celebration will be from 12 − 4 p.m. Oct. 15 and will include a number of all-ages activities for skaters of all levels. (The date is a Monday, but Fayette County Public School students do not have classes on this day.)
